  • Criminal Investigation Division (CID)

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is staffed by six detectives, a forensic analyst, a sergeant, and a lieutenant.  CID works hand-in-hand with the great men and women of the patrol division to combat and solve crimes.  While CID can be called upon to investigate or assist with a multitude of crimes, the division is primarily responsible for the following investigations:

    • Aggravated Sexual Assaults of Children
    • Indecency with a Child
    • Online Solicitation of Minors
    • Possession and/or Promotion of Child Pornography
    • Injury/Abuse of Children
    • High-technology Related Offenses
    • Robberies

The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office is a proud affiliate of the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (HMICAC). HMICAC is one of 61 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Forces across the nation. These task forces operate in a highly coordinated effort to combat the online victimization of children. We are honored that the commander of the HMICAC Task Force is Lieutenant John Colburn of the Houston Police Department. We are equally proud of our affiliation with the numerous local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as well as the children’s advocacy center Children’s Safe Harbor and Child Protective Services.

CID staffs two detectives at Children’s Safe Harbor where they investigate crimes against children in The Woodlands using a victim-centric, multi-disciplinary approach.

  • Civil Division

The Civil Division is responsible for the service of civil process.  This includes but is not limited to the serving/execution of civil citations; subpoenas; writs of garnishment, attachment, reentry, sequestration, and execution.

The Civil Division is also responsible for the sale of real property.

  • Reserve Division

The Montgomery County Constable’s Office Precinct 3 Reserve Division is a small group of certified peace officers from the community that donate their efforts to the mission of this agency.  The purpose of the division is to augment man power and expertise on a day to day basis as well as in an emergency.   Members of the Constable’s Office Reserve Division participate in all regular activities of the agency.  Additionally, the reserve division works to ensure local businesses are in compliance with the laws regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors, and work to clear outstanding warrants.

  • Patrol Division

The patrol division of the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office is dedicated to maintaining the safety and peace of our community. Through community based patrol practices this agency is able to monitor events and keep in constant communication with residents of our area.  This approach to community policing is essential in safeguarding our community we serve. We are available 24/7 to respond to calls for assistance when needed. By taking a proactive approach to our patrol of the precinct we are able to often locate and identify criminals in the area before they are able to commit a crime that would negatively impact our citizens.

The patrol division includes Patrol Services, the Motorist Assistance Unit, and the Traffic/DWI Enforcement Units.

The Vacation Watch Program is a service provided by the Patrol Division.  This program provides security checks to your residence while you are out-of-town or on vacation.  You may request a vacation watch through this website by navigating to “Online Services.”
